On May 30, 2020, the first manned launch of the passenger version of the Dragon V2 spacecraft, designed to transport astronauts to the ISS, took place. To control the quality and cost of development, production and testing of most of the product's components is done with internal resources, including the Merlin, Kestrel, Draco and SuperDraco rocket engines used on Falcon launch vehicles and the Dragon ship.

In 2020, on his Twitter account, Elon Musk announced that the new Robotaxi service is ready for use this year. The innovation applies to all Tesla models and is a fleet of fully autonomous taxis. Robotic electric cars will be able to deliver passengers without involving a driver thanks to the “smart” Full Self-Driving system. They can be controlled using a mobile application. Thus, a car sharing system will be created: when the owner of an electric car can rent out his car at a distance.
